ive seen a lot of thread about have a little flag about where the poster has come from, now, i have no use for this, and i know a few people want this,


i could somewhat whip up something for this, im thinking instead of mass edits for each code, instead make it check with a different server, one that i host, and it does all the processing needed, so you really only need to do like 2 lines of code to copy and paste into you chan for it to work


this, is just a idea, i also had the idea for having a global spam filter, one where you can add some code to your chan, and everyone shares the same ban list, but only for like cp, anything illegal, that way your site can not get hit with cp if someone else has already been hit by this

Well I love this site but I think I have a few things you ya could do to make it even better.

1: How to get your site traffic

Setting up a site is really rewarding, but aft you set it up, some don't know what to do next. I think it would be helpful to have a section on how to advertise your site or attract attention so that it can gain some followers and users.

2. Possibly a Teamviewer or video section.

What about a feature that adds text to an image that you upload. There are a million sites like creatememe, roflbot ect like this and the scripts are out there and you already have oekaki, so seems like an easy thing to slap together.

I have some suggestions for Kusaba X developers:
1. Multi-image uploading.
2. Uploading image by URL.
3. New captcha, readable for users. http://captcha.ru/kcaptcha/ for example or default Wakaba captcha.
4. Locked boards, access to them by invites.
5. "VIP" tripcodes, owners of VIPs can don't input captcha.
6. Preview of posts, it was realized on Dollchan Extension Tools (http://freedollchan.org/scripts/).

/r/ feature to send an email to admin/mods if a post is reported. This will help battle floods/CP, because people do use that report button.

Is it possible to implement a dice feature, as in 4chan's /tg/?

.Staff Ips listed per user from where they last logged in from,
You could have 5 ip address listed for each mod and janitor added. (to try and protect from mods and janitors giving their roll to other people)

.An all board disable switch that turns off all posting to every board or certain boards. (like a kill switch)

.A list of the last 5 posts for each of the boards added, so they can click a board and it shows the last 5 posts. (keep a check on current posting)

.a universal/individual message input, so the admin can leave a message on all boards, also able to add a message for individual boards.

I found this image software you can post name, tripcode, and sage in separate fields instead of in the email field. We should do something like this 2 checks for noko and sage, And a box for tripcodes. We won't have to put that in the email everytime I can't noko and sage at the same time or put tripcodes and email. If we do something like this it will be easy to make threads and reply.

Dear Kusaba x creators and modifiers, in the future release I need post moderating so that a post wont show up till an admin or moderator approves it.

The way it is now, everyone just spams my board for 'free advertising' of their own sites and blogs, or to get my chan banned with cp, or porn (mine is SFW).

The way it is now with locked boards, all posts are just discarded. It would be nice if there was a feature that would save their post for admin to allow it when he logs in next but not have anyone else see it till it is approved.

This would be good for us smaller chans, because right now we are getting 90% spam from other bigger sites.

We shouldn't have to lose that 10% good posts due to boards being locked, i am very serious about this imo is the best idea ever.

It is what has been lacking in the smaller chan community.

I remember 3dchan had a cp raid and within 40 minutes the url was seized .. i never want that to happen to my chan so i keep boards locked.

But my chan is my dream, why should it constantly be locked?

There should be a really be a way that we can have an alternitive front page that looks like the front page on 4chan or 4chon.org. It would be alot easier than haveing to go through changeing the HTML code.

Latest version of the image editor and maybe the only one left since the thread about it that was here is gone now ;_;. This is probably going to be my last contribution... barring the inevitable fixing of bugs and whatever things people want added.

TL;DR bunch of shit I changed or updated follows:

- complete rewrite of imgedit.php to reduce repetitious code and streamline processes. Various rendering bugs with text alignment, rotation and cropping have been fixed. The code for the motivator has pretty much been left alone.

- Cleaned up the applet code so hopefully no more annoying errors. If you still get them, I can't help you. Find someone who actually knows java. Or tell me how to fix it.

- html (except for the admin/mod display) is now completely template-driven.

- a config file to handle settings and language.

- option to generate image previews of the font files.

Hey devs, is there anyway you can make it so boards are password protected? Like say a guy clicks a link to one of the boards on the left but before showing the board it displays a text field in the middle of where the board would be, asking for a password. And only upon entering the correct password would one be able to access and post on the board. How possible is this to do?

How about some various traps for newfags, fake links like [log in] that ban whoever click them?

When opening the "recently uploaded images" and recent post pages, next to each pic/post can there be a CP button? Or, also a delete all and ban button?
Would make moderating quicker.. thanks

p.s., the bots or people posting constant CP, how does one stop them? They have been picking on my site for months now.

Something in config.php or somewhere that defines the colors of mod, admin, and user text. On my board everyone besides mods and janitors have red text and it annoys me.

Just a thought, why not add an auto-updating script to it?

How about, instead of disallowing duplicate images, simply use the same image that was already uploaded?

I've been wondering, why do we have to download Kusaba X on SourceForge? Why not download it on this website? It's not a hard thing to do, I'm just wondering.
